Fort Lions Haven

Our seniors self-contained apartments provide an independent living option for seniors 65 years of age or older who are seeking affordable housing options. Monthly rent is based on 30% of the resident's monthly income, thus they are considered "Rent-Geared-to-Income" or RGI housing. Fort Lions Haven is a two-story apartment building with 20 one bedroom apartments (550 square feet). Constructed by the Lions Club of Fort Saskatchewan, this building is provincially owned and provides affordable housing options to seniors 65 years of age or older who are active and enjoy their independence. It is within walking distance of Fort Saskatchewans downtown business core which includes the library and civic centre, banks, churches, a major grocery store, and a city park.
