This program provides service to First Nations (Status and Non-Status), Métis and Inuit clients and their families, to feel comfortable in hospital, make referrals, provide advocacy and help plan and support a client's discharge from hospital.

This program provides:

  • case management
  • patient advocacy
  • cultural teaching
  • patient/client language interpretation
  • health literacy support
  • logistical support for discharge planning, counseling, and traditional Indigenous healing services for Indigenous peoples
