About this service
Everyone has ups and downs in their life. It's perfectly normal to feel sad or disappointed once in a while. Things like work, family, stress and relationships can make you feel worried or overwhelmed. But if you feel badly most of the time, it may be worth seeing a health professional. Why? Because these feelings might be a sign of depression, which affects one in five Albertans during their lifetime.
The GOOD NEWS is mental illness can be treated. You don't have to face it alone. And early diagnosis can mean a much better recovery. The ASSIST Community Services Centre and Edmonton Mental Health Service is partnership to provide the service for people in need.
