About this service
This unique program considers all environmental factors when addressing the impact on children's health from exposure from possible environmental issues by integrating clinical, research and educational components.
While addressing the impacts on childrens health from environmental exposures, the program helps combine science, policy and practice. Through education, clinical service and research. This work includes;
- medical evaluation and recommendations for: children (0-16) with health conditions, which may be environmentally related
- consultation for environmental / health clinical questions
- promotion of awareness and knowledge of environmental issues that may affect childrens health to health professionals, families
- participation in educating and / or tutoring students, researchers and clinicians
- local and international professionals coordinate in original research project
- providing evidence-based information through scientific reviews
