About this service
HIV Edmonton has a vision of Zero new HIV infections, Zero stigma and discrimination and Zero AIDS related deaths. We provide support, community education, advodacy and prevention within a harm reduction philosophy to Edmonton and area. HIV Edmonton develops targeted and innovative interventions toprevent the transmission of HIV and to ensure healthier outcomes for those living with the disease. We offer clients living with HIV a meal program and drop-in centre where they can access health, housing and other lifestyle support as well as referrals to other health and social service providers. We provide a voice for people living with and affected by HIV through or work with local, provincial and national organizations on policy development,health strategy and program design. HIV Edmonton is dedicated to making life better for people living with, or affected by HIV and AIDS.
