About this service

Excel provides support and guidance to children, some with developmental disabilities and or complex needs; for instance, challenging behaviours,significant medical needs, etc. Residences provide support 24 hours a day as required for children. Child and family services also provides outreach support through the school system.

Children receive support based on their unique needs such as:

  • Learning functional communication skills
  • Learning life skills
  • Support in addressing behavioural issues
  • Enhancing reading and writing skills
