About this service
EARS provides support, assessment and referral as well as information and presentations to elderly adults who are at risk of experiencing abuse or neglect. This team's main focus is supporting seniors who are experiencing low to medium level risk in their home situation and where police intervention is not required.
Am I eligible?
This ministry is available to people 65 years of age or older who are experiencing abuse from a caregiver or loved one.
Where is this Service Provided?
This ministry is available to people living in Edmonton, home visits are available.
How much will it cost me?
There is no fee for this service. Funding for this ministry is provided by the City of Edmontons Family and Community Support Services, and by the Sign of Hope (an annual fundraising campaign for the ministries offered by Catholic Social Services).
