About this service
Cornerstone offers fee subsidies to clients based on their gross household income. Up until a few years ago, our lowest fee was $50/session to see a Registered Provisional Psychologist or a Certified Canadian Counsellor. However, with the downturn in the economy, we began to see more people who were unemployed, underemployed, on disability, or with special circumstances. For these people, a fee of $50.00/session was out of reach. We did not want to turn away those who needed us the most, so we developed the Advanced Graduate Level Intern program to meet these needs. This program enables clients to access professional psychotherapy from an intern counsellor at a rate of $20 to $30/session.
