About this service
The Snoezelen Room is a multi- sensory experience. The room is filled with visual displays. Colourful objects can be touched along with orbiting images, lights, and colours. Electronic devices with buttons and switches entice children to reach out and explore. There are gentle vibrations and massages that soothe the body and reduce stress or heightened feelings. The environment of the Snoezelen Room is filled with pleasant sounds and aromas that are subtly dispensed into the air.
CASA has Snoezelen Rooms located at two sites: Fort Road and CASA Centre.
Who Its For
Accessible to CASA clients, members of the Edmonton Fetal Alcohol Network (EFAN), and the public FASD community as a whole.
