About this service
The Ben Calf Robe Society has always placed an emphasis on education. We are proud to offer a program for Indigenous youth between the ages of 16 to 24 years that are working towards completing high school and pursuing post-secondary studies.
The SIL Program was created for youth to be given the opportunity to learn and practice independent living skills and activities while residing in their own apartment. There is 24/7 supervision available in the SIL program.
Through this program we offer:
- 8 one-bedroom units, completely furnished
- An Elder who resides on-site
- A House Parent who resides on-site
- Cultural Resources (circles, sweats, smudge, etc.)
- Academic planning
- Employment planning
- Rates: $225.00/ day
