About this service
This service provides in-home care for medically stable high-risk pregnant women who might otherwise be cared for in hospital. This program care for women with medically stable high-risk pregnancies in their home.
Services include
- regular assessments of women in their homes
- fetal monitoring (non-stress tests) as ordered by the physician
- teaching about pregnancy, birth, health concerns, and self-monitoring
- referrals to resources as needed
- communication with the referring health care provider.
This service provides in-home care for patients who might otherwise be cared for in hospital, which still being followed by their own health care provider.
