About this organization

COVID-19 Update: EMCN has begun offering limited in-person services in addition to our on-going virtual services. All office visits are by appointment only. We will continue to provide group programs and most one-on-one services online.

The charity provides a wide range of programs and services for immigrants and refugees. This includes initial assessment of needs; many English as a second language services (some with free child minding); employment and career services including job clubs; bridging programs for foreign educated engineers and accountants; youth employment and free staffed drop-in resource centers; settlement counselling; counselling for survivors of torture, etc.
