Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) - Alberta Division

CMHAs eight regional offices and the Centre for Suicide Prevention continue to focus on a better future for all people living with mental health challenges. We also recognize that individuals with a mental health challenge are connected to others who need support.

CMHA is one of Canadas oldest voluntary organizations. CMHA is a non-profit organization founded in 1918 and legally incorporated in 1955. Community-based mental health across Alberta CMHA in Alberta consists of a suicide prevention centre, a provincial office and eight regional offices. Northeast Region Northwest Region Edmonton Region East Central Region Central Region Calgary Region Southeast Region South Region CMHA, Alberta Division focuses on provincial-wide community mental health projects, mental health advocacy, government relations and workplace mental health training throughout the province. CMHA, Alberta Divisions mission is a nation-wide voluntary organization that promotes the mental health of all and supports people experiencing mental illness and we advocate for increased outreach services, education, housing and suicide prevention services across the province.
