About this service
The Safe Coach Program is available for teens and young adults aged 13-24 and/ or their parents or guardians when the family is having trouble living together. We help identify family members relational needs, strengthen their capacity to deal with differences and conflict, stay connected with each other and foster a long-term support system.
Teens (under 18): A Youth and Family Support Worker will meet with you to discuss your needs and options if you believe you cannot live with your parents or legal guardian either in the short term or longer term, or if you are considering leaving home or have left home.
Young Adults (18-24):
We recognize that you are legally able to make your own decisions and live on your own. Sometimes, young adults may need support in gaining the skills or ability to do so. The Youth and Family Support Worker will meet with you to determine your needs and can support your goal setting and steps toward healthy independent living.
