About this organization

Our current programs work to support the immediate needs of women and their children today. Looking to the future, we know that a long-term sustainable solution to end domestic violence is required in Cochrane and surrounding areas. To this end, we continue to make progress and work towards:

  • A safe place for women with or without children to stay when leaving domestic violence
  • Growing outreach support services for women and children living with or leaving, domestic violence.
  • Improving our advocacy, referrals, and systems navigation including trauma-informed individualized support for women and children
  • Increasing education, leadership and training on issues related to violence and abuse and against women and children
