Cochrane & Area Victim Services Society

Cochrane Victim Services provides 24 hour crisis response, support and referral services to victims of crime and tragedy. Cochrane Victim Services works largely alongside the RCMP and is located within the Cochrane detachment (includes the communities of Cochrane, Morley, Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows, Springbank, Bearspaw, Glendale, Bottrel and all surrounding areas).

Through the dedication of many community volunteers, and with the support of community partners, local and provincial government agencies and individual community members, Cochrane Victim Services is able to deliver much needed services and assistance to victims of crime.

Services are provided by program staff and highly trained volunteer advocates. Volunteer advocates are caring, dedicated community members who provide direct assistance and emotional support to victims though crisis response. All services are free and confidential.
