About this service
Meals on Wheels Chestermere is a program facilitated by the Chestermere Regional Food Bank. Its main aim is to deliver nutritious, heart-healthy, and diabetic-friendly meals to people's homes, serving meals for up to seven days a week. The meals are prepared by Meals on Wheels Calgary and are relayed to the homes by trained volunteers from the Chestermere Food Bank. Each meal costs $6.25 and includes an entre, starch, and a vegetable. An order requires a minimum of 10 meals and the meals must be prepaid at the time of delivery. The service does not use age or ficial status as qualifying factors.
