The Chestermere Community Health Centre in Alberta offers Immunization - Infant and Preschool Services to safeguard infants and children against various diseases. Administered by Alberta Health Services, these free-of-charge immunizations begin at 2 months of age and include vaccines against diphtheria, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, rotavirus, meningococcal, measles, mumps, rubella, and others. This health intervention is found to be highly effective in reducing disease and death rates. Depending on health conditions or risk factors, additional vaccines may be required. The services at the centre are managed by public health nurses and are available for children between the ages of 2 months to 5 years. The centre is open from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays.
