The Chestermere Health Centre - Postpartum Community Services - Urban, part of Alberta Health Services, offers support for families with newborns aged 0 to 2 months. The center provides newborn assessments, postpartum assessments for new moms, domestic violence support, breastfeeding assistance with lactation consultants, parenting information, newborn care guide, and referrals to social workers, physicians, and other community services as needed. Services are accessible for families living in Calgary and can be via professional referral or self-referral when the infant is less than two months old. Immunization services are not offered.
