About this service
The Chestermere Regional Food Bank's Regular Hamper Program is aimed at supporting families struggling with food insecurity. It also encompasses the generosity of donors and sponsors for the benefit of the most vulnerable. To qualify for a Regular Hamper, one must book an appointment and provide information including ficial statements, income details, basic expenses, proof of residence and family member's details. This information remains confidential unless permission is given to share with other service providers. Recipients can receive a hamper up to 6 times a year, with a 30-day break between each distribution. An understanding of food preferences in relation to religious and cultural practices is obtained for appropriate food allocation.
