Women In Need Society (WINS) - Retail Ready Employment Services

Provides training and work experience to enable women to find and maintain employment within the Retail industry. It is a client-centered program that seeks to address and support the holistic needs of the individual. The intent is to provide experiential learning that fosters personal empowerment and values based professional development through classroom and on the job training that will lead to life and work success.

What makes this program distinct from other retail training programs is the whole person approach that recognizes the who you are is just as important as what you know or what you can do. An employer can teach you the tasks of the job but they cannot teach you how to BE the values centered person that makes you a great employee. The program will endeavour to facilitate self-sufficiency, shape values and attitudes, grow skills and develop retail ready competencies.
