Toni Kohn-Woodward Foundation - Toni Kohn House

The Toni Kohn House, a live in housing initiative to support young women struggling to find their way.

Long-term housing and comprehensive supports in a home-like environment to young women, ages 14-24, who are at risk of living a life on the street. These young women, may be experiencing considerable housing instability, alongside additional risks such as addictions, trauma, family conflict, violence and exploitation. These young women are youth who are committed to building self confidence and independence to live their best life. They are attending school, working towards the goal of completing their education or who are pursuing self-sufficiency through employment.

Referrals can be made through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgarys Referral and Assessment line by calling or texting 403-828-HOPE (4673), or by emailing hope@bgcc.ab.ca. Youth seeking help, a family member, or anyone who is assisting a youth in finding a supportive living situation can make a referral to the program.
