About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE:Shelter capacity at 88 to accommodate social distancing.
A person who is under the influence can present to 203 15 Ave SE at any time depending on capacity.
We work towards stabilization of individuals depending on their social circumstances that impact their mental health and social well-being. Our shelter has 120 mats and we are a 24 hour, seven days a week program. Clients are welcome at any time of the day or night. In addition to self-referrals and our DOAP Team, we receive daily referrals from other addiction services, police, emergency medical services, city transit, hospitals and other agencies. To use the shelter you need to be under the influence of a substance or have an addiction issue. We deliver our services from a Harm Reduction and Social Model that respects the clients right to self-determination as we address the impact of homelessness and addiction in their lives.
