About this service
The Grief Support Ministry at St. Michael is based on the Companionship model of grief program initiated by Dr. Alan Wolfelt. It offers support and companionship to the person during the time of loss. The grief support volunteer meets with the griever at his/her request only. The volunteer companion listens; the griever sets the pace. The grief journey includes prayer time together. In addition, there is a GriefShare program for individuals who wish to share in a support group. If desired, please contact the parish office-403-249-0423
