About this service
Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society supports traditional Aboriginal healing, guided by the Seven Sacred teachings and other traditional wisdom. While Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society is inclusive of all cultures, we started out practicing Aboriginal healing and still use this unique methodology for all of our clients.
- Elder support, counselling and advise
- Facilitate family violence and cultural awareness workshops in the community
- Daily smudge and prayer
- Provide traditional teachings
- Elders perform and facilitate Aboriginal ceremonies and healing circles
- Provide referrals to Elders and Aboriginal services
