About this service

Recovery Acres Calgary Society, Calgarys oldest mens treatment facility, 1835 House has been a valued asset to the community for nearly 50 years. First established in Mission in 1973, then later moved to 1835 27th Ave SW (hence, 1835 House), weve helped more than 10,000 men find recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction.

CARE for Women program is a holistic program designed to provide responsive supports for women with addiction and mental health concerns. CARE for women is a process oriented and trauma- informed program. We endeavour to strengthen womens personal recovery journeys and encourage a process of deep inner exploration.

1835 House men's program is a fully accredited mens addiction treatment facility in Calgary, Alberta. Offering inpatient & outpatient programs that include participation in a respectful and supportive group setting. Clients learn new tools for coping with addiction through an intensive recovery-oriented curriculum.
