About this service
The MS Society offers Quality of Life (QoL) Grants to people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). These grants support the purchase of equipment (QoLE) and air conditioners (QoLAC) that enhance quality of life. QoLE Grants are considered last-resort funding, meaning that all other potential funding sources must be fully explored [i.e., Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL); Alberta financial assistance for seniors; Disability Related Employment Supports (DRES); Residential Access Modification Program (RAMP); etc.].
Eligibility Criteria:
Residence within the Division or Chapter catchment area
Submission of complete application form and supporting documentation including, but not limited to,
Included healthcare professional assessment form
Written confirmation of MS diagnosis from a healthcare professional
Two quotes (except for air conditioners)
Funding availability and declaration of financial need
Equipment and/or air conditioner have not been pre-ordered or pre-purchased
