About this service
The goal of Milestones is to increase the capacity of parents/caregivers to meet the behavioural and developmental needs of their child (0-17 yrs.) with a disability.
Specific Services include:
Client demonstrating improved behaviour
Client increasing developmental skills
Caregiver has increased understanding of their childs disability and developmental needs
Caregiver engaging in activities to enhance capacity to care for their child(ren)
Client connecting to community resources/services
Client is connected to cultural/spiritual activities/resources
Clinician provides mental health supports to enhance parenting capacity, family functioning and overall well-being
Referrals typically come from FSCD workers directly or the families after speaking to the family. Referrals may also come from other programs at McMan or within the community, doctors, Alberta Childrens Hospital, or schools.

Children/youth ages 0 18 with a developmental disability
When is it open?
Milestones is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
