About this service
This outreach program involves having multilingual settlement counselors available in various Calgary neighbourhoods and communities. It collaborates with organizations and initiatives throughout Calgary by supporting their initiatives and providing our expertise and training services.
Through our community awareness initiatives, mainstream service providers and faith groups all Calgarians can gain a better understanding of immigrants' needs, become more knowledgeable about diverse cultures and better equipped to welcome and assist new immigrants.
Immigrant and refugee participants that engage in Immigrant Services Calgary activities are given the opportunity to share their perspectives and ideas through community dialogues.
