About this service
Alberta Education funding for children starting as early as 2 years & 8 months of age with severe delays in development. Funding is available for eligible children for a maximum of 3 years, with the last year intended for Kindergarten.
- Children attend community preschools and may receive additional programming in addition to scheduled preschool sessions.
- Each child is assigned a Program Support Assistant (PSA).
- An Education Coordinator (EC) who is a certificated teacher is assigned to each child and will be responsible for overseeing the childs programming focusing on early academic skills.
