About this service
UPDATE: Volunteers and seniors must pass COVID - 19 screening questions, and follow Calgary Seniors' Resource Society COVID-19 protocols.
We dispatch volunteer drivers to pick-up seniors from their home, drive them to medical appointments, stay with them throughout, and take them home again. We can also provide short-term or one time rides.
Eligibility:
- Age 65 and over
- Annual Income less than Canadian LICO
- Limited mobility
- Unable to take public transit
- Does not drive anymore
- Limited social support
- Lives in Calgary
