About this service
We match a senior with a volunteer who takes them shopping once every two weeks. In addition to the shopping, this program has the added benefit of social connection. Social distancing protocols are currently in place, the volunteers will only be dropping off groceries, toiletries, and mediciations.
Eligibility:
- Age 65 and over
- Low Income
- Limited mobility
- Does not drive or has limited driving capabilities
- Access to a telephone
- Limited social support
- Lives in Calgary
