About this service
UPDATE: Due to COVID-19, the volunteer will call the senior a minimum of 2 times a week to do a wellness and social check in.
We match a senior care recipient with a volunteer who will provide weekly companionship for the senior, while also allowing the caregiver to take a break for themselves.
Eligibility:
- Senior care recipient age 65 and over
- Combined annual income less than $70,000
- Limited social support
- Lives in Calgary
- Lives independently
