About this service
carya provides outreach to vulnerable older adults and their families who live in the north, west, and central areas of Calgary. carya belongs to The Way In Network, a collaboration of four agencies, who provide these services across the city through 403-SENIORS (403.736.4677).
Our service coordinators provide information and connect people to services and resources that they need to remain active and engaged in their community.
Our purpose is to enhance the quality of life of Calgarians aged 65 and over in their homes and neighbourhoods.
The Way In team will help you or your loved ones connect with services and supports in your community including:
- Preventing isolation (physical and social)
- Information and referral services
- Assistance with benefit applications and financial services
- Short-term supportive counselling group work
- Workshops
