The United Active Living Foundation was established in 2015 with the mission to be a leader in supporting, expanding and promoting knowledge of wellness and active aging.

Active aging supports older adults in leading lives that are as full, active and healthy as possible regardless of age or health conditions. Active aging has the potential to shatter ageist stereotypes, shift healthcare focus from a medical model to a social/wellness model, and direct the collective wisdom of older adults.

Active aging, as described by the World Health Organization, allows people to realize their potential for physical, social and mental well-being throughout the life course and to participate in society, while providing them with adequate protection, security and care when they need.
