About this organization

We envision a peaceful setting where The Salvation Army Agap Hospice team honours people as they journey to lifes natural end. It will be a home where the palliative Resident and the bereaved experience compassion and hope through unconditional love so that each day will be the best day possible.

The Salvation Army Agap Hospice has been providing caring and compassionate end of life care and family support to Calgarians for twenty-five years, directly serving more than 5000 residents and their families. Agap Hospice provides quality care and has been in the forefront of hospice palliative care initiatives and programming since the beginning of such services in the Calgary area. As a Salvation Army facility and contract provider to Alberta Health Services, we collaborate with our partners and others hospices to ensure we provide comprehensive holistic care that meets the needs of residents, families, and the community.
