About this organization

The North East Family Connections Society provides programming, knowledge and support to community residents for various programs such as its in-home support, its art program (for youth), and many others. The Society also provides referrals to other agencies (e.g. Calgary Food Bank, Sleep Country, Women-in Need) for the basic needs assistance of its clients. Additionally, the Society provides services under the Family Violence Outreach Program, funded by the Ministry of Human Services, to deliver education regarding family violence, its impact on children and advocacy. The Society also offers an Indigenous Program that is offered free of charge to Indigenous families - a famiy support worker provides education, emotional support and information and resources.
