About this organization
Provides services for persons with disabilities.
To be eligible for the PDD program, you must:
- be 16 years or older to apply and 18 when PDD services start
- live in Alberta and receive PDD services here
- be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Disability criteria
- You must also have a developmental disability from before you were 18-years-old. Depending on your situation, PDD may ask if you have an assessment from your school or a doctor or specialist confirming your developmental disability. If you do not have one, PDD may ask a psychologist to do an assessment based on the Developmental Disabilities Guidelines.
