About this organization
Provide a supportive role to the RCMP. Bonnyville VSU provides front line crisis intervention in terms of emotional support, info, and referrals. Our unit supports victims throughout the judicial system with file dispositions,court preparation, accompaniement assistance with Victim Impact, requesting restitution, and applying for financial benefits. Our unit coordinatres community awareness events and participates in fundraising initiatives. Our services are available 24/7 at no charge and all services are confidential. We have an outreach office in the First Nations community of Kehewin and a court support worker.
