About this service
Supportive Living (SL4) allows individuals to enjoy a home-like setting with the comfort of having health care services provided. It is a great option for individuals who may have medical needs that can be managed to maintain a semi-independent lifestyle. Barrhead Campus has 42 Supportive Living (SL4) units, all located on a single level. All Supportive Living suites are private and spacious studios. Admission to these Supportive Living units is only through assessment by Alberta Health Services. Residents pay a government regulated accommodation charge, which covers room and board (three meals per day plus snacks), housekeeping, linen and bedding laundry and some building maintenance costs. Pastoral care is available to all residents, including weekly interdenominational church services in our on-site chapel, and hymn sings.
