About this service
The Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies program at the Teen Parent Centre is for all pregnant and parenting teens. The program is all about getting the right start in life. It provides:
- nutritional support and guidance
- food supplements
- vouchers
- pre natal vitamins
- help with breastfeeding
- information about pregnancy and parenting
- group activities
- cooking sessions
The Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies program also provides transportation support so that you can attend community kitchens and other activities. We have an "in-house" nurse available to our young families to answer questions or just to alleviate fears and worries. What's important is that you find out what you need to know to be healthy and give your child the best possible start to life.
The Healthy Moms Healthy Babies program is funded by CPNP (Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program) through Health Canada.
