About this organization
Del Van Gorder School has a mission of connecting school and community to better reflect the educational outcomes and core competencies identified by the community of Faro. Along with the curricular competencies, students are exposed to experiential learning outside of the classroom and connected to the land and local skills and knowledge. Education for students is individualized and focused to meet the needs of each learner. The educational environment at DVG is one of positivity and openness where students can learn, grow, ask question and be curious about the world and what interests them.
