About this service
We provide services to youth between the ages 12 to 18 years, who are experiencing a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns and are not able to function in a main stream school system. The Day program is designed as a short term assessment and intervention program to help the youth reintegrate into an appropriate program. The program follows the Public School Board calendar and most youth stay for one or two semesters, depending on their needs. Services Offered The Day Program provides a combination of multidisciplinary services addressing educational programs, social and life skill development, recreation assessment and family therapy. This program is designed to address the individual needs of the youth and family. We assess the needs of youth who exhibit moderate to severe mental health and some substance use issues, and then provide interventions to meet those needs.
