About this service
CFS is fortunate to have the support and involvement of approximately 70 SaskTel Telephone Pioneers that volunteer hundreds of hours each year refurbishing and distributing computers. Based out two Repair Centres in Saskatoon and Regina, their leadership and commitment to community has allowed CFS in Saskatchewan to flourish. The Pioneers philosophy of Answering the call of those in need focuses on the education sector in all their current community service programs. In May 1994, the Canadian arm of the Pioneers won the international Pioneering Award of Excellence for their founding role in Computers for Schools turning a surplus of government computers into an educational windfall. Our two Repair Centres are the key component to CFS SK. Located in Saskatoon & Regina they facilitate all the receiving, refurbishing, and distributing of computer equipment.
