NSILC - In Motion & Momentum+

Are you ready to try something new? In Motion & Momentum+ is a new program that helps you begin to move in a direction that feels good, tap into your full potential, and create the life you want to live. Who is this program for? This program is for people who have significant potential for success in their lives. It is especially useful for those who, for one reason or another, may have been stuck or feeling like they've been moving in a direction that is not right for them. Participants must be unemployed or precariously employed and not a full-time student and have: Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or confirmed refugee status Basic digital literacy A desire and commitment to participate fully What will I learn? This program is all about providing experiences and opportunities that help you to take charge and live the life you want to live. In Motion This first part of the program is about: Better understanding what's most important to you; Knowing the skills, strengths, and supports you already have; Building and extending your skills, strengths, and supports; and Shaping a vision for your life that feels exciting, right, and possible. Momentum This second part helps you to continue to build on your vision and move towards making it a reality. It is also an opportunity for you to meaningfully contribute to your community by taking part in a community project that you and others in the group choose as a way of making your community better. Momentum+ It helps you work towards living the life you want to lead by capitalizing on your strengths and skills, supporting you with the steps in your action plan, reconnecting you with your IM&M+ group, and helping you seek the support of other allies in your community. When is this program? IM&M+ classes run from September to October 2022 and is divided into three parts. Participants are required to complete the full program and maintain a high level of attendance. September 13th - September 29th Tuesday- Thursdays, 9:30 am 3:00 pm. October 3rd - October 28th Monday -Thursdays, 9:30 am 3:00 pm. November 2 - December 7th Once per week follow up Sessions What does it cost? This is a free program. Completion Bonuses! - Upon successful completion, participants could receive a minimum of $120 in gift cards for completing all modules and surveys.
