Outpatient counselling is a helpful approach for those in all stages of recovery as the counsellor can provide addiction screening, assessment, pre-treatment readiness counselling, relapse prevention, after care counselling and community referrals. Outpatient counselling is an effective way for community members to explore how substance addictions may influence their spiritual, mental, emotional and physical well-being. Through outpatient services they will gain the support and tools needed to guide their path to recovery.
