About this service
Community Outreach provides on-going support to youth aged 12-21 in care of the Ministry of Social Services (MSS) within the Saskatoon Community. Outreach support is able to stay attached to the youth regardless of MSS housing placement. Community Outreach focuses on connecting with youth and building trusting relationships, assisting in the development of life skills, support in social and cultural needs, and supporting them within the education, legal and social services systems while guiding youth through day-to-day adolescent and young adult issues. The youth are supported by a team of staff members covering 7 days a week on a rotational basis.
