Program Details Our program follows the Play & Exploration curriculum and our meals follow the Canadian Food Guide. Our children have a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. Early Childhood Educators work in partnership with the parents to ensure each individual childs developmental needs are met. We believe that the environment children are in should be one that is welcoming and nurturing with an emphasis on respect, co-operation, courtesy, personal dignity, security and non-violence. Program Fees Age Monthly Rate Infant (0 18 months) $594.00 Toddler (19 30 months) $416.00 Preschool (31 months until grade 1) $388.00 children ages 6 and above $816.00 Program Facilitator Mardi Bley - Pedagogical Leader Mardi Bley Pedagogical Leader Mardi began working for CFS Saskatoon at the Early Learning Centre in Bishop Murray High School in 2003. In 2010 Mardi moved to the E.D. Feehan High School location to be the Director of the newly opened centre. Both of these centres had teen parents who needed extra support and encouragement to continue their education and the challenges of being a young parent and student. In 2016 CFS Saskatoon started the process of requesting a new centre when the P3 schools were to open in September of 2017. CFS was successful in their request and Mardi had the opportunity to move to the Rosewood location and be the Pedagogical Leader. This brought on many new challenges such as: hiring a new team of early childhood educators, outfitting the center with equipment, recruiting families and working with Facility Managers to have a successful opening all while adapting to a new model of service delivery. The centre opened on September 1, 2017 and continues to support and build relationships with the families and school community.Mardi has lived in Saskatoon and received her Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Sask Polytech. She enjoys travel, spending time with family and friends, and time at the family cabin in the summer months. Janelle Sander - Assistant Director Janelle Sander Assistant Director Janelle began working with CFS Saskatoon Early Learning and Family Centre in 2015 at the E.D. Feehan Location. In 2016, she moved to assist in the opening of the Rosewood location as the Team Lead and has just returned to E.D. Feehan as the acting Director. Janelle has always had an interest in working with children and most recently in the administrative piece of the business. Currently, she is studying Accounting through Saskatchewan Polytechnic with the intention to receive her diploma in the next couple of years. In her spare time, Janelle loves to spend time with friends and family, be outdoors and watching sports of any kind.
