About this service
ENHANCED LITERACY PROGRAM Established: 2010 Partner: Saskatchewan Polytechnic Saskatchewan Polytechnic 1st year nursing students complete 40 hours of one-on-one reading with students in four different schools. The program ensures literacy remains a priority and students reach their full potential. In 2016, a grant was received from the Macro Properties Prairie Partnership to purchase two mobile libraries that carry specialized books to each school, for students who struggle with reading.
