Lakeridge Co-Operative Preschool

Lakeridge Preschool was formed in 1990 as a co-operative preschool by a group of parents to provide a preschool setting in the Lakeridge area. Though it was felt at the time that a co-operative would best serve the needs of the preschool, in 2012 the decision was made to no longer operate as a co-operative. We continue to emphasize the benefit of parental involvement and member participation, while recognizing that families are not always able to volunteer their time. We encourage parent involvement in the classroom, when possible. However, due to the current situation around Covid 19, visitors in the school are limited. We will keep parents up-to-date with any changes as the situation evolves. Our teachers take every precaution possible to keep our classrooms safe and clean to help prevent the spread of germs and keep your little ones safe. Teachers and students are required to wear masks within the classroom, except when seated to eat snack. Our preschool follows the mandates laid out by the public school division-- as we operate within Lakeridge School.
